Interakcia is an official Supporter of the Covenant of Mayors initiative in Belarus. As part of the Covenant of Mayors – East project, we help the CoM signatories to develop and implement their Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs).

Interakcia was also member of a consortium of consultants who helped Minsk city authorities to develop the Green City Action Plan for Minsk.

We have been professionally managing development projects for more than 12 years.

In addition to running its own projects, Interakcia provides project management and financial management services for beneficiaries of international technical assistance projects. As part of our most recent contracts, we provide project management and financial management services for two EU-funded cross-border cooperation projects: “Development of Telecommunication Infrastructure at the Belarus-Lithuania Border (BOMBEL-4) (project budget EUR 3,738,260) and “ClimaAdapt: Capacity Improvement in Emergency Preparedness and Response through Climate Adaptation Actions” (project budget EUR 1,096,050).

We provide expert support on various regional development issues, such as sustainable urban development and planning, energy efficiency, climate adaptation, urban mobility, smart cities, environmental education, inclusion, participatory policy planning.

We do our best to make our projects visible and participatory.

Interakcia has been responsible for communication in more than 10 projects since 2008. In all our projects, our priority is to identify stakeholders and engage them in planning and implementation of activities.

We also develop communication strategies and conduct trainings on how to organize information campaigns on various topics.

As part of one of our service contracts, we conducted daily media monitoring for the EU Delegation to Belarus. In the project “Green City Action Plan for Minsk”, we were responsible for engaging NGOs, activists and other stakeholders into the discussion of environmental activities for the city.

In 2019, three of our communication cases received awards in a communication contest run by the EU Delegation to Belarus

For many years, we have been writing successful project proposals on various topics. Our proposals managed to secure funding from various donors for projects with budgets from 25,000 CAD to 2,000,000 USD.

We help projects to develop a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework. We also perform mid-term and final evaluations of development projects.

Since 2006, Interakcia has conducted more than 100 conferences, seminars, trainings and webinars on project development and management, planning and conduction of communication campaigns, various aspects of energy efficiency and climate change, environmental education, inclusion, urban development.

We can organize any type of event, from an in-depth training for a small group of participants to a high-level conference with several hundred attendees.
